Learning mishnayot for the elevation of a soul

Family and friends share out the mishnayot, and each person learns their part. You open a board and send a link to the group. There is no sign-up and no app, and the learning is completed in time for the Shloshim, the end of the eleven months, or the yahrzeit.

How it works

  1. You open a board in three steps. Enter the name of the deceased and the date of passing, Hebrew or civil. Choose what to learn: the whole Mishnah (Shas Mishnayot), the letters of the name and Neshamah (נשמה), or both. Then set the date to finish by.
  2. Send the board by WhatsApp or by email. The message is already written, and goes to the group in one tap.
  3. Everyone takes a part in two taps, with a name and an email address or phone number. They get a personal link with the vocalized mishnah and a "Done" button. The mishnah also reaches them by email, and they can learn straight from it. When they finish, they can also reply to the email with the word "Done".
  4. Someone without access to the website does it all by email. Each board has its own email address. Send it an empty email and you get the list of free parts. Reply with the number of a part, and the vocalized mishnah arrives by email. This suits anyone whose filter allows only email.
  5. The organizer sees what has been taken, what has been completed and what is at risk. They can assign parts by name to people who learn from a printed sheet, and print an A3 board with a QR code for the house of mourning.
  6. A week before the target date, the site sends a reminder. A part nobody has started goes back to the board automatically, so that others can complete it.
